I never got started writing this, and I wonder why. Well, life is a sinusoidal curve of ever-changing emotions. If something good happens, we want it to stay. If something bad happens, we say this will pass. But everything changes. To be born as a being on this earth is to be cursed with the ever-changing nature of emotions. Yet, some things are meant to stay. Some things are meant to wither all storms and winds and survive till dusk settles on the evergreen field of life.
How much power, does the word "I love you" hold? Is the emotion attached to this word everlasting? Sure, the weight of the word is not equal at all times, but aren't all loves, or the feeling attached to it, not something that is just floating in the wind? Humans love, they love blindly, and they never treat it as a fleeting emotion. It never is, some emotions are meant to last. What about the feeling of love of a child for a mother? Very few forces of nature can knock off this emotion. So, here in lies the catch. Emotions are fleeting, but not all of them. It's the emotions we want to be fleeting, are. Humans, after all, are the masters of their fate, the captains of their souls.
This overarching control of the soul can be achieved through a deeper understanding of one's self. Yes, emotions can be random. But some of them are in response to some events happening outside one's domain. The out-of-domain topics cannot be controlled, they never are meant to be handled. Yet, some become overrun by the influence of outer force, completely compromising their nature. A human must have complete mastery over the emotions thrown at them from outside. Always try to understand the reason for the reactive emotion, before acting upon it. Some emotions arise from within. These are reflective of one's own true behavior. You have complete control over this emotion. So, stop fucking around with it, and use it for the betterment of you and those who are around you.
Inner emotions are important to build relationships, meaningful ones. People live because of the strength of their relationships, the only meaning in life comes from this. Money, assets, and luxury cars won't miss you after you die. But your loved ones will. The soul of humans must be completely tuned to build meaningful long-lasting relationships.
And always remember, the next day can be your last. Always be contempt with the life you are leading. Look around, and be happy. Always be grateful to the people around you. Try to avoid spreading unhappiness among others. Never be happy alone. Spread that happiness. Happiness is an important inner emotion. It mostly has to come from within. Stop being influenced by outer out-of-control emotional tweakers and take control over yourself.
